Spathiphyllum – Peace Lily
Description
The distinctive white flowers of the Peace Lily are often seen in flower arrangements, smart offices and domestic homes. There are various theories about how the plant got its popular name. It is widely regarded as a symbol of peace, harmony and tranquillity. Members of the Spathiphyllum flower family can grow well in low-light conditions and have a reputation for promoting tranquillity, making the Peace Lily perfect as a houseplant for the bedroom. Supplied in 6.5cm and 12cm growers pots. Plant Care Tips: Light: Likes bright indirect light. Water: When the top inch of soil is dry to the touch. Never allow the soil to completely dry out. Fertiliser: During spring and summer feed with a diluted balanced fertiliser once a month. Do not feed during winter. Toxicity: These are toxic to cats and dogs if ingested so please keep away from your pets. Please note: the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery pot).
