A colourful, elegant perennial with upright sprays of deep purple-blue flowers rising from crinkled sage-green foliage. A compact salvia that’s great for summer interest.

This plant is a magnet for bees and butterflies, thriving at the front of a sunny border, in pots, edging a path or in a gravel garden.
