When it comes to bedding plants, Pansies are always a favourite. These perennials add instant colour to borders, pots and planters or even hanging baskets; their large flowers with distinctive centres make them unmistakeable.

A versatile plant, Pansies are happy in partial shade or full sun. If you’re after a pot, then we have a huge selection online and in store; and let’s face it –  potted pansies make a great gift too!

For extra impact you can plant with bulbs – we recommend crocuses, dwarf daffodils (tete a tete are great), or even tulips, for a stunning display in spring. Their green heart-shaped leaves have simple jagged edges, which adds further to the visual interest of these gentle flowers.

To keep your pansies looking great, remove dead and faded flowers regularly to encourage new blooms. When watering, wet the soil rather than the delicate flowers and leaves.
