Why We Love It
‘Purple’ is admired for its rich, velvety colouring and refined shape, making it a standout in early summer planting schemes. Its upright form and jewel-like tones pair beautifully with perennials such as lupins, peonies, and salvias, or with other irises for a painterly effect.
These Dutch irises are also excellent for cutting, with strong stems and long-lasting blooms that add elegance to vases and bouquets. Hardy, reliable, and easy to grow, they return year after year with a little care.
