Why We Love It

‘Ard Schenk’ is treasured for its clean, white petals that shine brightly in the late winter garden, when colour is still scarce. Its golden heart and vivid stamens create a warm contrast, giving each bloom an uplifting presence.

Hardy, reliable, and naturalising well, it forms increasing clusters year after year. Ideal for scattering through grass, tucking into rockeries, or adding brightness to pots and containers, it’s a versatile bulb that guarantees seasonal cheer.

How to Plant & Grow

• Plant from September to November before the ground freezes.
• Choose a sunny or partially shaded spot with well-drained soil.
• Plant bulbs 8–10cm deep and 5–8cm apart.
• Water well after planting, keeping soil moist but not waterlogged.
• Allow foliage to die back naturally to feed bulbs for next year.
