Description

Add an exotic touch to your room with this striking tropical plant with dark green leaves and contrasting white veins.

The Alocasia Amazonica, also known as the Elephant Ear or African Mask plant, is native to Southeast Asia.

Supplied in a 11cm growers pot.

Plant Care Tips:

Light: Alocasia Amazonica prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as it can burn the leaves.

Water: Water the plant thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.

Humidity: They prefer high humidity, so mist the leaves regularly. It can also be grown in a bathroom.

Fertiliser: Feed the plant with a balanced liquid fertiliser every two weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) and then once a month during the rest of the year.

Toxicity: Alocasia Amazonica is toxic to pets and humans if ingested, so please keep out of the reach of children or pets.

Please note: the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery pot). They do however make excellent potted plants and, if you wish to pot yours up, we do have a wide range of pots on our website to choose from.

Please note: images show how this plant may look at various stages of maturity. The size you choose may look different.
