Key Features & Care:

  • Light / Position: Thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate some shade. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch its delicate leaves.

  • Water / Feed: Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Feed monthly during the growing season.

  • Temperature / Humidity: Prefers temperatures between 18–24°C with moderate to high humidity. Enjoys occasional misting.

  • Pet / Child Friendly: Not pet-friendly – can be mildly toxic if ingested. Keep away from pets and small children.

  • Air Purifying: Helps remove toxins and improves indoor air quality.

  • Growth / Spread: Fast-growing with trailing or upright stems that can reach 60–90cm in height.

  • Geographic Origins: Native to South Africa.

Care Tips:

For a happy and healthy Asparagus Fern, provide a well-draining potting mix and avoid letting it dry out completely. Prune any yellowing stems to encourage fresh growth. If the air is too dry, mist the leaves regularly to maintain humidity.
