Description
A distinctive grape hyacinth, Muscari latifolium, produces elegant flower spikes with a two-tone effect: deep violet-purple blooms at the base, topped with lighter blue florets above. Compact and eye-catching, it adds depth and contrast to spring planting schemes while providing nectar for early pollinators.

Why We Love It
Latifolium is admired for its unusual colour contrast, with rich purple and soft blue tones on the same spike, giving borders and pots an extra layer of interest. Hardy and reliable, it thrives in sunny spots and naturalises easily, forming clumps that return stronger each spring.
It pairs beautifully with tulips, narcissus, and anemones, providing both a textural and colour contrast. Plant in drifts for a bold statement or tuck into pots for a charming seasonal accent.
