Why We Love It
‘Vanguard’ is a real showpiece crocus, admired for its contrasting colours and robust flowering habit. The two-tone effect of its petals creates depth and drama, making it stand out beautifully in the garden.
Hardy and long-lived, it naturalises readily, multiplying each year into cheerful drifts. Perfect for scattering through lawns, tucking into rockeries, or planting in pots for a striking early-season display. It pairs wonderfully with snowdrops, iris reticulata, and early narcissus.
