Description

Our Classic Nordmann Firs are hand-selected from the top grades our growers produce, offering all the qualities that make the Nordmann Fir the nation’s favourite Christmas tree, at great value. Each tree has a beautifully natural shape, with full branches and a little more space between the tiers – perfect for showing off larger baubles and letting your lights shine.

Like all our Nordmann Firs, it’s sustainably sourced, with soft needles and a fresh, festive scent. It’s a practical choice too:

• Excellent needle retention – holds its needles well, making it ideal for families and homes with pets.

• Soft to the touch – the glossy, waxy coating on its needles makes it gentle to handle and a popular choice for those with allergies.

Classic or Premium?

Both are top-quality Nordmann Firs with the same soft needles, festive scent and excellent needle retention. The difference is in their shape.

• Classic – a beautifully natural shape with slightly more open branches, and may have a “best side” to face the room. Plenty of space for larger baubles to hang freely, and great value.

• Premium – our fullest, most symmetrical trees. An even cone shape with dense branches and small gaps between tiers, looking perfect from every side. A lush backdrop for lights and smaller ornaments.

Sustainability

When we need to re-net a tree in store, we use VacuBioNet – an innovative, eco-friendly alternative to plastic netting. It is:

• 100% organic

• 100% degradable

• 100% home and industrial compostable

• Made from renewable, plant-based materials

According to the manufacturer, producing VacuBioNet uses significantly less energy and cuts greenhouse gas emissions by up to 75% compared with petroleum-based plastics.

Tree care

We choose Nordmann Firs for their ability to hold onto their needles. To keep your tree fresh and vibrant for as long as possible:

• Place it away from radiators and other heat sources.

• Use a sturdy stand with a water reservoir, and top up the water regularly.

• Trees need a fresh cut at the base to take up water – don’t worry, we’ll have done this for you.
