Overview:
A ready-planted world of its own, housed in a rounded glass jar with a natural cork lid and layered over a bed of rock, moss and earth.

The 24cm size is planted with asparagus fern, ctenanthe and fittonia; the 17cm size is planted with fittonia and pothos.

Key Features & Care:

  Light / Position: Bright, indirect light is ideal; avoid direct sun, which can overheat the sealed glass


• 
  
  Water / Feed: Largely self-sustaining once settled; only top up with a little water if condensation disappears from the glass and the moss starts to look dry, roughly every few months

  Temperature / Humidity: Best kept at normal room temperature, away from radiators and cold windowsills; humidity looks after itself inside the closed jar

  Pet / Child Friendly: While this is a closed vessel, the 24cm terrarium contains asparagus fern and the 17cm contains pothos, both of which are toxic if ingested. Keep either size well out of reach of pets and small children.

  Growth / Spread: Growth is slow within the enclosed space; occasional light trimming keeps the planting balanced over time

Care tips:
Resist the urge to water often — a light misting every couple of months is usually plenty, and a foggy jar simply needs its lid left off for a few hours to clear. This is very much a display-and-enjoy plant rather than one that needs regular attention.
