Description
Overview:
A sculptural rosette succulent with fleshy, pointed leaves tipped in red, bringing sharp architectural colour to any sunny windowsill.
Plants supplied in a growers pot, decorative pot not included.
Key Features & Care:
Light / Position: Loves bright light and will tolerate a few hours of direct sun; a south-facing windowsill suits it well
Water / Feed: Water thoroughly then let the compost dry out completely before watering again; feed sparingly during spring and summer
Temperature / Humidity: Best at 18–24°C; low humidity is fine, and it prefers good air circulation over a muggy spot
Pet / Child Friendly: Non-toxic to cats and dogs
Growth / Spread: Slow-growing; rosettes can reach around 15–20cm across at maturity
Geographic Origins: Native to Mexico
Care tips:
Give this one as much light as you can and resist the urge to water on a schedule — check the compost first, as soggy roots are the main thing that troubles echeverias. A gritty, free-draining succulent mix will help enormously, and the red leaf-tips will deepen in colour the sunnier the spot.
Why you’ll love it:
Striking colour and sculptural form in a plant that thrives on neglect rather than fuss.
