Why We Love It

With its tall stems and luminous white globes, ‘Mount Everest’ is a garden showstopper. Its flowers rise gracefully above other planting, creating vertical interest while adding a modern, minimalist elegance.

Superb when planted in groups, it contrasts beautifully with purple alliums such as Purple Sensation or with soft perennials like nepeta and salvia. The blooms also dry well, extending their usefulness indoors as long-lasting cut stems.

How to Plant & Grow

• Plant from September to December before the ground freezes.
• Choose a sunny, well-drained site — alliums dislike heavy, waterlogged soil.
• Plant bulbs 15cm deep and 20cm apart.
• Water well after planting, but avoid overwatering.
• Allow foliage to die back naturally to feed the bulbs for next year.
