The Peperomia Pepperspot is a fantastic trailing plant that grows well in a bright space or can also handle a shadier spot. A great low maintenance plant that requires the top third of the soil to dry out between waterings and would appreciate a warm space. With lovely small round green leafs and red stems whats not to like? With more than a 1000 species of peperomia out there it’ll take you a while to catch them all, could this be your first one? Temperature / Humidity: Avoid cold drafts, the peperomia prefers warm temperatures in raised humidity. They should be misted for the best results.
Light / Position: The Peperomia prefer moderate light conditions, best to avoid direct sunlight. They work well under florescent light making them the perfect addition to a lower ground floor flat or office space.
Growth / Spread: They are relatively slow growers but can reach a height of 20 cm – 30 cm.
Geographic Origins: The Perperomia Pepperspot is native to Brazil and the Amazon region.
