Description

Maranta Lemon Lime is a tender, clump-forming evergreen perennial cultivar with intricately patterned leaves. This rare plant is also called a Prayer Plant due to it’s habit of raising and lowering its leaves. Pop this beautiful plant somewhere it can catch your eye if you want to see the leaves move.

The common name refers to the light green markings on the leaves, these set it apart from the standard red Maranta and make this plant highly coveted amongst collectors.

Prayer plants are popular houseplants for good reason. Their beautiful leaves catch the eye with their seemingly painted on patterns and the lemon lime prayer plant is bright and vibrant.

Supplied in a 12cm growers pot.

Plant Care Tips:

Light: This plant can tolerate a shadier spot but ideally place it in a space with indirect, bright light. Direct sunlight will burn its beautiful leaves.

Water: Naturally found growing on forest floors, it likes to be quite humid so during summer months water it when the first inch of soil is dry. Reducing in winter to when the top 2-3 inches of soil are dry.

Fertiliser: Feed once every 2 weeks throughout spring and summer using a water soluble houseplant fertiliser mixed at half strength. Do not feed during autumn or winter.

Toxicity: Non-toxic to children and pets.

Please note: the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery pot). They do however make excellent potted plants and, if you wish to pot yours up, we do have a wide range of pots on our website to choose from.

Please note: images show how this plant may look at various stages of maturity. The size you choose may look different.
