Current height: approximately 50cm (including pot).  A lovely variation on the popular red flamingo flower. Flushes of elegantly formed, waxy lime green spathes emerge above glossy, dark green foliage throughout the year. These lime-tinted blooms fade to white as they mature. Easy to care for, if you’re looking for something to add a bit of understated colour and structural splendour to a brightly lit room, then why not go flamingo?.  Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery alternative), but we have a wide and wonderful range on our website to choose from.

Home care: Water freely when actively growing in spring and summer, water less frequently in winter. Mist the leaves regularly with water to increase humidity and every so often put it under a cold shower to clean the leaves. Make sure the winter temperatures stay above 15°C, and repot every couple of years.
