Tradescantia Zebrina (Wandering Dude)

Due to its long exploratory shoots, Tradescantia Zebrina is better known by the popular name of ‘Wandering Jew’. This dazzling little pot plant sports a flurry of multi-coloured leaves that shimmer in bright sunlight. As well as being a top-performer in a hanging pot, Tradescantia wandering tendrils also make a highly effective trailing feature. If you’re looking for an educational houseplant to introduce the kids to plant biology, ‘Wandering Jew’ is an excellent choice. Simply snip a long tendril into shorter sections, then plant them in a pot. The cuttings will magically root to produce a shimmering cluster of new plants!
