Description

Known as ‘red arrow’ these annuals are Brazilian natives and feature dense spikes of deep red flowers from June to November. Great for attracting butterflies and bees to the garden, they’re happy in sunny and partially shady locations making them a versatile addition to any garden.

Members of the sage family, they have fragrant foliage (with the added bonus of it deterring rabbits and deer from having a nibble). They form a striking almost regal accent in containers hanging baskets and beds.
They prefer well-drained light soil and need plenty of water and sunshine. In return you’ll be blessed with stunning ruby red flowers from spring and well into summer.
