A delightful addition to the summer border, plants form tufts of grey-green, grass-like foliage and throw up upright stems with silver-buds which open to show cornflower-like flowers which bloom without pause from June through to September.

A native of the Mediterranean, these sun-lovers do best in a well-drained soil. Very popular cut flowers, in both fresh and dried arrangements.
