Description
These Armerias are evergreen perennials commonly found on coastlines – hence also being known as ‘Sea Thrift’. Clump-forming, they produce 15cm long stems adorned with stunning soft pink pom-pom like blooms which emerge from April through to early summer and make a great cut-flower.
Gently fragrant, they’re brilliant for garden insects, they grow well in patio containers or borders.
So long as the soil is well-drained (they like sandy and chalky soil) and they have access to plenty of sun (even if the spot is slightly shady) then they’ll thrive.
Easy to grow, and providing year-round greenery, dead heading will help prolong the flowering period. They do well in well-drained, gritty soil.
