A spectacular compact Japanese maple with feathered leaves and an elegant, spreading habit, one of the most striking varieties, shifting colour with the seasons.

It’s a great performer in mixed borders or a large pot, in sun or dappled shade, where its leaves will change from deep purple in spring to purple-green, then crimson in autumn.
