Description
Violas can be grown throughout the year and add a splash of colour wherever you decide to plant them, making them especially well-suited to brightening up gardens and containers before other flowering plants fully wake up. Low-growing and adaptable, they work well in borders, hanging baskets or planters; and they come in a range of colours.
Robust and hardy perennials, they look best grown in small clusters of three plants. They’re low maintenance too, but regularly deadheading them will prolong the flowering period.
Although they enjoy being in full sun, they may suffer if baked in a hot south-facing spot, and usually prefer cooler positions.
The specific colour tone/pattern may vary from those photographed.
