Description

Big, bold and beautiful! Three words to describe this positively stunning red geranium. Large, dark red blooms on dark green stems above ultra dark green foliage for excellent contrast. Plants are vigorous with an upright habit. Ideal for containers, window boxes and hanging baskets, they also do well in beds and borders. Excellent heat tolerance. Deadheading will promote additional flowering. Grow in average, moist, well-drained soil and water regularly.

You do have the option of bringing geraniums indoors before the first frost. As house plants, place them in a bright but cool window with reduced watering, or for dormant overwintering, place them in a cool dark corner of the basement. You can also take cuttings from your favourite plants for overwintering.
